WHO IS HAYAH?

Throughout this website, you’ll read the words “we,” “our,” and “us” a lot, but the truth is – at this point – Hayah is one person, Jay Parsons.

And while Jay sees a day when Hayah employs several coaches and consultants with expertise in a variety of disciplines, if you hire Hayah today, you’re hiring Jay and his values, his passions, his talents, his expertise, and (for good or bad) his sense of humor.

So, as you make your way through this page and this site, please, indulge our aspirational “we” and know that Jay is Hayah and Hayah is Jay.

WHY‘D WE CALL IT HAYAH?

Hayah is an ancient Hebrew word, pregnant with meaning. It’s a word about PRESENCE.  In its most literal sense, Hayah means “be here,” but Hebrew is a picturesque language – every word tells a story or paints a picture.  And the picture hayah paints is of a person fully alive, fully present, fully themselves in each moment of each day of their life. And, at Hayah Consulting, that’s what we want for our clients.

We commit to being fully present with you so you can be fully present to your life!

WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT JAY

Jeremy Lopez • Creative Director • Authentic Adventure Co. • Chicago, IL

“Since my very first meeting with Jay, I knew I was meeting someone who cared deeply for the well-being of my whole self; mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Although we have known each other for a relatively short time, Jay has the ability to make you feel like a life-long friend. He has spoken truthfully and compassionately into my life, and has been a great source of encouragement.

As a latino, I have been deeply moved by his commitment to being an ally to the black and brown community as a whole.”’
